The Fjord and mountain sightseeing tour is a eventful day excursion from Stavanger. On this tour you will get a first hand look of Norwegian nature and culture at its finest. The sightseeing tour have two departures per day, and starts 08:00am or 14:00pm from the Fiskepirterminal in Stavanger. There are some minor differences in the itinerary depending on which of the two departures you choose, but you will visit the same places on both tours. On the Fjord and sightseeing tour you will go on a majestic fjordcruise on the Lysefjord. On your journey you will see both the Pulpit Rock and Kjerag. Two famous nature phenomenons. Between Lysebotn and Øygardstøl you will go by bus up the 27 hairpin bends which is so characteristic for this part of the road. At the top there will be a short break the Eagles nest. A true piece of architecture over 1000 metres above the sea level. On your journey there will also be a short break at Byrkjedalstunet. Here you can buy handcrafted candles and lovely souvenirs.
A Fjord and sightseeing tour will give you authentic experience, and many good memories about the Norway.
Alternative itinerary
Hiking to Kjerag is a roundtrip, but its possible to travel parts of this journey.
If you prefer to travel just parts of the journey please select Sirdalsruta under Departure city when making your reservation. In the next step of your reservation select Payment onboard as payment method. This wil guarantee you a seat on the tour, and you can pay to the driver for the distance you would like to go.
All Visa payments will charge you for the whole roundtrip.
